During the course of the year, Academy of Finance students will be required to dress in professional business attire,  or business casual attire on certain days.  If an attire is not specified you may wear your academy T-shirt and casual wear within SHS and WCPSS dress code

Professional Dress Code 


  • Suit or sport jacket

  •  Dress slacks: navy, grey, black, brown

  • Dress shoes

  • Dress belt: pants are to be worn and belted at the waist.

  • Socks: dark socks at least mid-calf length so no skin shows when you sit.

  • Long-sleeved dress shirt: MUST BE IRONED.

  • Tie: appropriate, stripe, solid or pattern



  • Suit or jacket

  • Properly fitting dress pants:  solids or very subtle weave patterns or plaids 

  • Tailored blouses or shirts: solids or small coordinating prints. MUST BE IRONED.

  • Loose-fitting dress 

  •  Dress shoes

  • Appropriate stockings or socks

  • All clothes must be modest in style and in fit.


  • Jeans or pants of jean construction

  • Sneakers or any casual shoe, including topsiders

  • White socks

  • Short-sleeved shirts, T-shirts or Hoodies

  • Gimmicky, distracting colors or designs



  • Tight fighting clothing including pants, blouses, dresses and skirts

  • Sleeveless blouses/tops

  • Pants of jean construction, regardless of fabric

  • Sandals or flip-flops

  • Visible undergarments


Business Casual Dress Code 
The following dress code must be followed on “Business Casual” days. On those designated days, students must either wear the Business Casual attire as detailed 
below, or follow Professional Dress Code.


  • Academy of Finance Polo.

  • Casual dress pants: khakis, “Dockers” type pant. No jeans or shorts!!

  • Belt

  • Closed shoes and socks (No flip-flops or sneakers)

  • Pants must be worn at the waist.

  • Shirts must be tucked in.



  • Academy of Finance Polo.

  • Dressy shoes (No flip-flops or sneakers)
